Position Description:?

As a Linux, you will be you will be responsible for ensuring the deploying, maintaining, and securing our client’s enterprise Linux and Ansible infrastructure in support of their operations Center. This position is a key member of our client delivery requiring an expert engineer responsible for solution coordination, implementation, and deployment. We are seeking a candidate that is passionate about the confluence of cybersecurity and networking operations who will drive the integration of risk management, technology, and businesses processes within the organization.

Responsibilities:?

As a Linux Engineer, you’ll be Zen’s expert charged with deploying and supporting RedHat Satellite and Ansible. Your in-depth working knowledge of building and running Ansible playbooks and creating code base solutions to configure systems will ensure timely and accurate service availability that will minimize degradation of mission during critical times. Collaborate with security and network analysts and engineers to ensure Linux and ansible services meet requirements.


What You’ll Need to Succeed:

  • Experience: 8+ years of experience performing functions and responsibilities as an IT or security engineer for large organizations, preferably federal.
  • Education: Bachelors of Science in an Information Technology or Cybersecurity field preferred.
  • Demonstrable history of leading successful deployments of enterprise class solutions.
  • Skilled at producing technical documents and engineering diagrams.
  • Experience administering Ansible and Red Hat Linux servers in an enterprise environment.
  • Exceptionally strong understanding of RHEL.
  • Technically aware of operational toolsets that include but not limited to; Azure Security Center, ForeScout, Microsoft Defender Products, Microsoft Sentinel, Forcepoint, Gigamon, Splunk, Tenable Nessus, Palo Alto, Azure Active Directory, Cisco routers and switches, Cisco ASA and NGFW platforms, Cisco ISE, Akamai, and F5.
  • Experience with all relevant OMB Memorandums, NIST Special Publications, FITARA and standard best practice and federal guidance related to cybersecurity and infrastructure compliance.
  • Consult with business partners, leadership, team members, and other key stakeholders to evaluate and apply suggestions for improving efficiency and success.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, leadership, and collaborative team interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
