Job Description: As a Structured Finance Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing and structuring complex financial transactions involving securities, loans, and other financial instruments. Your primary role involves conducting financial analysis, modeling cash flows, and assessing credit risk to create structured financing solutions for clients. You will collaborate with internal teams, including investment bankers, risk managers, and legal advisors, to design and execute structured finance transactions that meet client objectives and regulatory requirements. Additionally, you will monitor portfolio performance, track market trends, and provide recommendations to optimize structured finance strategies and mitigate risks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct financial analysis and modeling to evaluate structured finance opportunities, including asset-backed securities, collateralized debt obligations, and structured loans.
  • Structure financing solutions, design transaction terms, and negotiate agreements with clients and counterparties to facilitate structured finance transactions.
  • Assess credit risk, perform due diligence, and analyze collateral quality to evaluate the creditworthiness of underlying assets and securities.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to coordinate deal execution, manage documentation, and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor portfolio performance, track cash flows, and analyze risk metrics to assess the effectiveness of structured finance strategies and identify potential risks.
  • Provide recommendations to senior management on structured finance strategies, risk management initiatives, and portfolio optimization opportunities.
  • Stay informed about market developments, regulatory changes, and industry trends affecting structured finance activities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field (Master's degree or CFA designation preferred).
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial analysis, cash flow modeling, and credit risk assessment.
  • Experience in structured finance, investment banking, or financial services, preferably with exposure to asset-backed securities or structured products.
  • Knowledge of structured finance markets, securitization techniques, and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex financial concepts to clients and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment, managing multiple projects and priorities.
  • Understanding of legal agreements, documentation requirements, and regulatory compliance in structured finance transactions.
