ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Provide analytical support for month end process through detailed variance analysis and interaction with the Accounting group.
  • Research and resolve business partnering inquiries for assigned functional areas.
  • Routine communication with supervisors relating to financial close and ad-hoc reporting.
  • Responsible for financial analysis and planning of the R&D division.
  • Oversee the preparation of budgets, forecasts, long-range financial plans, measurements of operational performance, and other KPIs, including Head Count.
  • Review and verify financial reports for strategic planning and deal analysis.
  • Create financial models and perform analysis for business leaders and client strategy
  • Identify and implement process improvements.
  • Modelling and analysis of assigned cost centers of their budget and forecasts. Ensure that outputs are linked to key drivers and ensure that all assumptions are visible and agreed.
  • Responsible for monitoring, tracking and accurate reporting of any third-party studio cost and royalties.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration required
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in corporate or divisional financial planning and analysis with heavy focus on spreadsheet creation and data management.
  • Proven proficiency in accounting and strong knowledge of reporting requirements
  • Proven proficiency to identify and understand key drivers in a complex commercial environment.
  • Proven proficiency to understand and analyze financial data and provide recommendations to management that allows effective and efficient achievement of business objectives.
  • Proven proficiency in project accounting/reporting.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel.
  • Experience in finance business partnering role and ability to build, maintain and manage stakeholder relationships.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to liaise (& challenge when necessary) with business operations with attention to detail.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and takes the initiative whenever an opportunity presents itself.
  • Self-motivated, drives to completion / resolution.
  • Experience operating in large projects and throughout the lifecycle of project and process implementing cross-functional transformation initiatives.

PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • 2+ years of experience with Oracle NetSuite or similar ERP system
  • Ability to communicate in French.
  • Knowledge of the casino gaming industry
  • MBA

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • A secured office location 4-5 days a week.

  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, ability to see color and the ability to adjust focus. Essential responsibilities include moderate physical ability such as lifting or maneuvering at least ten (10) pounds, and prolonged instances of sitting during the shift.

REQUIRED TRAVEL:
