We currently have an opening for a full-time licensed Counselor or Social Worker. This position is only open to individuals who are licensed in Arizona: Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
The position involves providing counseling services to individuals residing in long-term care facilities all around the Phoenix area. Clients are clustered together so that the therapist does not spend their day driving. Rather, they commute to one location and stay there for most of the day. We assign locations based on the therapist's residence so as to reduce the commute time. Currently, we have a great need for therapists to provide long-term care services in the West Valley and Avondale area.
This position is paid per client hour at a rate of $65. In addition to payment for face to face services, administrative time is also reimbursed at the rate of an hour per 5 clients seen. In addition to this, employee benefits include health insurance, accrued sick time, 2 weeks of vacation, accrued PTO, and several federal holidays. There are additional benefits, including the ability to make your schedule and choose when you see your clients.
You will also be trained in Prolonged Exposure Therapy, which is one of the top APA-approved treatments for people with PTSD. There are also opportunities to be trained in sleep-disordered treatment, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia.
Compensation:$65 hourly
Responsibilities:- Conduct Intakes
- Develop individualized treatment plans for individual service needs
- Conduct individual therapy on a weekly basis
- Applies best practice standards and outcome measurements as related to clinical practices
- Maintain client records, treatment statistics and other documentation according to practice standards
- Participates in individual supervision that meets the standards set by Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Licensure
- Master's Degree in Counseling or Social Work
- Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
