Job Summary: Perform technical procedures using magnetic resonance imaging and ionizing radiation (Radiographer) to detect pathology. Regulate equipment, process, and organize images while ensuring patient safety and comfort.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Associate Degree or equivalent in Radiological Technology.
  • Experience: Minimum 1 year of MRI experience required; 3 years preferred.
  • Certifications/Licenses: FL State Registered Radiologic Technician License, ARRT (MR) certification, Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS).

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform technical procedures using magnetic resonance imaging and ionizing radiation (Radiographer) to detect pathology.
  • Regulate equipment, ensuring accurate imaging and patient safety.
  • Process, organize, and store images in PACS system.
  • Provide excellent patient care, ensuring comfort and addressing concerns.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize imaging results.
  • Maintain equipment, ensuring functionality and safety standards.
  • Adhere to protocols, ensuring compliance with regulations and guidelines.
  • Participate in continuous education to stay updated with technological advancements.
