Our client is a dynamic biotech startup company that is at the forefront of transforming cell and gene therapies. Our client is developing a novel platform that combines NGS techniques and data analysis tools to help reveal the impacts of gene editing on the genome, supporting the development of new therapies that are safer by design. The company has a great investor stack and is entering their high growth mode with plans to commercialize next year.
About the Position
The Product Manager has a critical and impactful role within the organization and will drive new product introductions in the cell and gene therapy market. The Product Manager will develop the product roadmap and build out the go-to-market plan, ultimately owning and developing the platform and launch. The Product Manager will have strategic responsibilities and will define user needs throughout product development, craft a coherent product roadmap aligned with customer and business goals, and refine product positioning and commercial strategies to accelerate growth. Through collaboration and leadership, the Product Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams, leverage data for fact-based decisions, and oversee sales enablement and the product lifecycle.
About the Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences or related field; MBA is a plus
- 3+ years in Product Management focused on life science research tools
- Expertise in cell biology, gene editing, and/or NGS
- Knowledgeable of CGT and pharmaceutical drug development workflows
- Strong leadership capabilities and experience within Product Management (VOC, product roadmap, GTM plans, etc.)
- Successful track record in product development, new product launch, and commercialization
- Ability to build KOL relationships across all levels of pharma and biopharma organizations
- Strong communication skills
- Analytical mindset
- Self-starter who thrives in high-growth environments
- Home-office based with some international travel required
- Location: East Coast or Central, US (EST or CST time zones)
