Position Overview

Assist Production team with customer satisfaction, carpentry labor, material handling, job site cleanup, material pick-up and delivery, care and maintenance of company-owned tools, and organization of tools and materials onsite.


Essential Functions

  • Carry out labor, carpentry, material handling, and job site cleanup as assigned by the Production team.
  • Perform all assigned tasks to the best of your ability.
  • Complete projects on-budget, on-schedule, while ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Coordinate with Production team for material needed to complete work.
  • Communicate daily with the Production team with regards to daily accomplishments and next days’ assignments.
  • Pick up materials from vendors and deliver them to job sites as needed.
  • Load-in and load out materials and tools from jobsites as required.
  • Maintain and care for company-owned tools. Organize tool area.
  • Perform dust/site protection duties as needed.
  • Perform demolition as instructed by Production team.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

Skills & Knowledge

  • Possess a high level of professionalism in interacting with clients.
  • Ability to track time and work activities through electronic tracking system.
  • Capable of working with other team members in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to implement and maintain the highest level of safety with all tasks (training provided).


Work Environment / Physical Demand

  • Must be able to safely operate carpentry tools (with instruction and supervision).
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, stand, talk and communicate, use hands/fingers, and reach with arms.
  • The positions requires the ability to bend, and lift up to 50lbs (possibly up to 80lbs with assistance)


Other Requirements

  • Within the first year of employment, must begin to acquire a general set of personal tools which can be used on the job.
  • Must maintain a valid driver’s license.
  • Must have reliable transportation to reach client locations.
