Pay: $16 / hour
Job Summary:
The Dishwasher will supply the restaurants guests and employees with clean and sanitized tableware and cookware, meeting health department standards at all times. Other general duties as needed.
Job Duties:- Provide guests and employees with clean and sanitized utensils, plateware, and glassware.
- Ensure dishes are clean and available as needed.
- Responsible for setting up dish machine in the morning and closing down machine in the evening.
- Wash tableware according to sanitation and cleaning procedures.
- Place clean tableware in specified shelves according to sanitation and cleaning procedures.
- Set up lined trash cans in employee restrooms, prep cooking lines, and dish room.
- Maintain the kitchen’s cleanliness by sweeping/ mopping floors, and emptying trash.
- Trouble-shoot any dish machine malfunctions.
- Inform Manager on duty of any problems and take fast action when necessary.
- Work frequently in a hot, damp environment.
- Must wear approved manufacturer certified slip resistant or non-slip shoes at all times while working
- High school or 1 year experience preferred.
- Must be able to clearly and effectively communicate English.
- Must be able to pass dishwasher training
- Must be able to walk and stand for hours at a time. Difficult work including lift and carry up to up to 45 lbs
