Entry-Level Qualifications:- Education: Master’s degree in Nursing.
- Licensure: Current and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in good standing.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a behavioral health, mental health, or psychiatric setting.
- Health Requirements: Complete TB testing and comply with background and drug screening protocols.
- Mobility: Ability to stand continuously for increments of 45 minutes to 1 hour.
- Assistance: Capability to assist patients of average weight (140-170 lbs) from the floor to a chair or bed.
- Patient Care: Plan and implement primary care services according to healthcare plans and written protocols.
- Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Provide comprehensive care, including counseling and referrals, within a multidisciplinary team.
- Medical Assessments: Perform assessments, medication management, evaluations, and ongoing treatment under the direction of a psychiatrist.
- Regulatory Compliance: Adhere to confidentiality and health information standards as per 42 CFR Part 2 and 45 CFR.
- Clinical Interventions: Evaluate medical issues, behavioral health problems, and the need for detoxification.
- Treatment Plans: Collaborate with psychiatrists and behavioral health staff to design treatment plans.
- Medication Management: Administer and document patient reactions to medications and prescribe treatments as needed.
- Patient Monitoring: Monitor clinical interventions' effectiveness and maintain a safe environment.
- Education: Provide educational lectures on medical aspects of substance use disorders to clients and families.
- Documentation: Ensure thorough and current documentation on all patients according to licensing standards.
