Black River Memorial Hospital has an immediate opening for a Marketing Specialist in the Marketing Department. The Marketing Specialist is responsible for the implementation of marketing tactics that sustain and strengthen marketing strategies for BRMH. Reporting to the Business Intelligence and Marketing Director, the Marketing Specialist provides comprehensive support and assistance with day-to-day activities, exercising independent judgment and creativity. In addition, the marketing specialist will provide project support for others as needed.

  • Full-time, 80 hours per pay period Day Shift, benefited.

Essential Duties:

  • Supports BRMH’s marketing strategy, brand development, social media, and internet strategy through the implementation of tactical initiatives, including photography.
  • Recommends, coordinates, organizes, and implements projects that fall within scope of practice.
  • Maintains promotional item inventories and coordinates online store.
  • Designs, edits, and proofreads marketing materials, and enhances internal and external communication materials while maintaining consistency with branding guidelines.
  • Assists with facilitating requests from the public for educational services and community tours, health fairs, business development events, etc.

Educational Qualifications:

  • Associate Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, communications, public relations, or related field required
  • Demonstrate advanced computer skills with proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign, Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook, and Internet and Social Media
  • Have a valid Wisconsin driver's license and proof of insurability
  • Essential to the job are strong interpersonal, design, writing, organizational, and communication skills
