Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Payroll Administrative Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling various administrative reports, and assisting with accounting duties. This role requires excellent multitasking abilities and a strong attention to detail.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Payroll Processing:

  • Collect and review employee timecards or attendance records.

  • Calculate wages, deductions, and adjustments.

  • Process payroll accurately and in a timely manner.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.

Benefit Invoice Reconciliation:

  • Reconcile invoices from health insurance providers, retirement plans, and other employee benefits.

  • Verify the accuracy of charges and resolve discrepancies.

  • Coordinate with internal departments to address any billing issues.

Loan Monitoring:

  • Monitor loan accounts and payments.

  • Maintain accurate records of loan transactions.

Weekly/Monthly Production Reports:

  • Compile data and generate weekly production reports.

  • Analyze trends and variances to identify areas for improvement.

  • Distribute reports to relevant stakeholders in a timely manner.

Accounting Duties:

  • Assist with special accounts and side deals as point of contact software and MS Office Suite (particularly Excel).

  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Knowledge of accounting principles is a plus.

And other duties as assigned.

WORK EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

  • 2+ years of experience in payroll processing, administration, or related roles.

  • Strong understanding of payroll laws, regulations, and tax requirements.

  • Proficiency in payroll software and MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.

  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and calculations.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
