Aircraft Upholsterers

Perform work relating to aircraft interior installation, repair and removal due to aging, customization or modification. Upholsterers repair, build, troubleshoot and perform installation and fabrication work on pieces found within the aircraft interior.

Candidates must have a strong background or prior training with the willingness to learn.


Must have valid driver's license, submit to drug & alcohol screening, and airport security background checks

Upholsterer Requirements

  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen
  • Must be able to pass an airport security background check per DHS requirements
  • Valid Driver's License
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, talk and hear. The employee is frequently required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl and smell. The employee is occasionally required to sit. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include, close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. The employee must utilize fine and gross motor skills when handling tools, fabrics, and other upholstery supplies.
