We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as a Mid-Level Machinist. This position offers an excellent opportunity for those looking for extra work. As a Mid-Level Machinist, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various machines to fabricate precision parts according to specifications.

A qualified Machinist candidate would fulfill these requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent. Vocational training or certification in machining or related field is preferred but not required.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand tools.
  • Basic understanding of machining principles and processes.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Inspect finished products for accuracy and quality, ensuring they meet specifications and tolerances outlined in engineering blueprints.

Skills Required:

- Ability to lift 50 lbs and be able to stand, bend, lift, crouch 8-9 hours a day.
- Show up every day on time and ready to work
- Ability to safely operate basic tools including grinders, punches, tape measure, utility knives, wrenches, etc.

- Use a data collection system to track time on jobs and estimate completion times
- Communicate well with others
- Follow directions and ask questions when clarification is required
