Position summary:

Reuben's Brews is looking for a passionate foodie that enjoys sharing their love of cooking with others. The successful candidate will be a very responsible team player who always works towards creating a wonderful guest experience. At Reuben's Brews the Prep Cook/Line Cook works both behind the scenes and customer-facing, and the successful candidate will be equally adept at both.


About us:

Reuben's Brews is a family brewery that opened in 2012. We brew from the glass backwards: designing each beer with intention, unbound by constraints. We know making the extra effort is worth it. We are the most decorated brewery in Washington, have two brewhouses, two tasting rooms, and two private event spaces, and we distribute our beer predominantly in the Pacific Northwest. In 2023 we brewed 27,000 BBLs. 


The role:

This role is responsible for the following:

  • Ensure quality of food during prep and service
  • Serve delight for guests
  • Maintain a clean, safe and organized environment, adhering to all relevant nutrition and sanitary regulations and standards
  • Execute all prep needs in a clean and orderly fashion in an appropriate timeline to allow for delivery to locations. Deliver to locations as needed.
  • Track ingredient inventory and collaborate with other kitchen and management staff to order and resupply.


The successful candidate will have:

  • Passion for and experience working in a kitchen
  • Solid kitchen skills from knife work forward
  • Proven ability to follow and develop recipes
  • Fastidious care for maintaining a clean and safe working environment


In addition to these minimum requirements, we expect the successful candidate will demonstrate the following:
