  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for COO.
  • Prepare deposits and transfers.
  • Daily bank reconciliation.
  • Payroll Processing. 
  • Prepare year end W-2s, 10-99s, transmittals, and grant administration.
  • Prepare quarterly payroll tax reports, workmen’s compensation insurance reports. 
  • Employee benefit payment remittance (health insurance, 401k, etc). 
  • Maintain all accounting records including financial statements, general ledgers, journals, check registers, earnings records, working papers, and support documentation. 
  • Maintaining records of vacation and sick leave payable. 
  • Preparing monthly budget & reports for proper tracking of actual to budgeted expenditures. 
  • Working with external auditors regarding conformity of SISC’s financial statements to generally accepted accounting principles as applicable to governments and compliance with certain provisions of laws, regulations, contracts, and grants.
  • Assist in the preparation, monitoring, and reporting of company budgets and projections.
  • Help design and maintain internal controls to ensure compliance with company policies and legal standards.
  • Assist with monitoring and managing cash flow.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the accounting team and assist COO as needed.
Qualifications:Education & Experience:
  • REQUIRED: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • REQUIRED: 3-5 years experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or a related field.
  • PREFERRED: CPA, ACCA, or equivalent certification.
Hard Skills:
  • Strong proficiency in financial reporting and analysis.
  • Advanced excel skills.
  • Experience with financial modeling.
  • Experience with complex accounting software.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles, GAAP, and financial regulations.
Soft Skills:
  • Strong communication, problem solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • High efficiency and time management skills.
