Summary

Join a team providing Life Cycle Sustainment (LCS) and modernization activities for an enterprise Integrated Workspace Management System (IWMS) that provides infrastructure and facilities management solutions to critical missions. We are seeking a strong senior developer that is comfortable learning a COTS product and developing subject matter expertise, tackling challenges sometimes without a lot of guidance or information, and collaborating in a fast-paced, highly visible team environment. The primary responsibilities of this role require maintaining and enhancing complex operational software systems, interacting with Government project leadership on priorities, developing task estimates, and providing input to Government roadmaps. Other activities include conducting upgrades, debugging existing software and correcting defects; integrating existing software into new or modified systems and operating environments; investigating and analyzing user problems and identifying potential solutions.

Requirements

TS/SCI with Polygraph

A bachelor's degree and six (6) years of experience in software development and engineering. Ten (10) years of software development experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree. Experience with JavaScript and XML. Understanding of Linux server environment. Willingness to embrace challenges and seek to become an expert in the products. Experience with COTS integration. Experience developing and updating technical documentation. Skilled in problem solving and troubleshooting computer systems and software. Must be able to work during core hours of 10 am-2 pm Monday - Friday. Exceptions will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Secondarily, it is desired that the qualified candidate have experience closely collaborating with the Government customer and managing systems hosted in virtual environments such as AWS or C2S. Experience with Java and JavaScript, Oracle and SQL databases, familiarity with ARCHIBUS, agile development methodologies. Experience the with the Atlassian Tool Suite including Confluence & Jira, and experience with Perceptive Content or any content management or workflow management suite.
