What you will be doing:
  • Deliver dental services to the population with a special emphasis on those who otherwise lack access to such care.
  • Provide consultative and educational services to other of our professional staff.
  • Participate in the delivery of screening and prevention activities, treatment, and educational functions.
  • Maintain the required credentialing and engage in education and training as appropriate.
  • Prepare, handle and sign patient records, charts, and reports on all services rendered within 72 hours of date of service.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of our policy and process.
  • Actively participate in at least one committee within the organization.
  • Maintain an open practice and do not refuse to accept new patients.
  • Participate in dental staff meetings, community meetings, and peer reviews.
Experience you will need:
  • A DMD or DDS in General Dentistry from an accredited institution with appropriate academic emphasis.
  • Licensed or license-eligible in Wyoming.
  • Post-doctoral residency training in general or specialty dentistry is desirable.
  • Current with BLS/CPR certification.
  • Experience with the needs of low income and underprivileged.
  • Clinical experience with all age groups, different cultures, and socioeconomic groups.
  • A strong understanding of interrelationship amount oral, medical, and psychological conditions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced dental office environment.
  • Willingness to travel by automobile, possible air travel and overnight stays.
