Summary: The Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), in addition to providing support in residential programs, assists in the delivery of behavior analytics under the direction of an RBT supervisor.

Schedule: Sunday-Thursday 3:00PM-11:00PM (40 hours)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Provide support and assist individuals with skills training in all activities of daily living.
  2. Participates in the delivery of comprehensive behavior analytic services and supports to individuals with developmental/intellectual disabilities: implements behavior interventions, assists in data collection, provides data reporting on target behaviors.
  3. Meets regularly with RBT supervisor to review behavior plans, data collection and analysis.
  4. Create opportunities and provide support to individuals to make decisions in order to develop their skills and foster independence.
  5. Provide services to individuals according to DDS, DMH, MassHealth, HUD, DPH, CARF and all applicable regulatory standards, as well as Bridgewell policies and procedures.
  6. Provide support and assist individuals with all medical, clinical and financial needs.
  7. Transport and accompany individuals as needed to and from medical, recreational and other activities outside the program.
  8. Maintain required documentation according to DDS, DMH, MassHealth, HUD, DPH, CARF and all applicable regulatory standards as well as Bridgewell policies and procedures.
  9. Assists individuals with accessing resources and recreational opportunities in the community.
  10. Administer medications according to MAP regulations, as applicable.
  11. Maintain core training certifications including CPR/FA, OSHA, PABC, MAP and Driver Safety.
  12. Maintain additional mandated certifications and trainings as required by the program.
  13. Develop positive relationships with guardians, family members and other stakeholders.
  14. Other duties as assigned.

Required Education/Experience:

  1. Must have a high school diploma or GED. Associates Degree or DSP Certification Preferred.
  2. Must have current Registered Behavior Technician certification.
  3. A minimum of 1 year of experience working with people with developmental or psychiatric disabilities preferred.

Required Skills/Knowledge:

  1. Excellent written and oral communication skills so that writing of required documents is clear and articulate.
  2. Excellent organizational and problem solving skills.
  3. Valid driver's license and minimum of one year of driving experience.
  4. Computer literacy to include ability to use proficiently Microsoft products and web based applications used by the agency.

Physical Demands:

  1. While performing the duties of this job, employee is frequently required to climb stairs.
  2. Must be able to lift a minimum of 30 pounds.
  3. The employee must be able to drive a vehicle and regularly meet driving record requirements of the agency.
  4. Must have a normal range of eyesight with or without corrective lenses.
  5. Must have a normal range of hearing with or without corrective equipment.
