Our financial services client is looking for a Data Management and Quantitative Analyst to join their team.

We will accept corp to corp or w2 contractors. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

Pay Rate: $60.00 - $63.00/hr on W2

Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be taken into account when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting is a reflection of a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided pay range.

W2 employees of Eliassen Group who are regularly scheduled to work 30 or more hours per week are eligible for the following benefits: medical (choice of 3 plans), dental, vision, pre-tax accounts, other voluntary benefits including life and disability insurance, 401(k) with match, and sick time if required by law in the worked-in state/locality.


Responsibilities of the Data Management and Quantitative Analyst:
  • Understand and document requirements related to the use and gain an understanding of the data
  • Perform root cause analysis for data errors
  • Research and find scope and complexity of issues, interpret findings, and identify steps for remediation
  • Analyze, query and manipulate data according to defined business rules and procedures
  • Prepare ad-hoc reports at the request of managers and/or other leaders
  • Ensure accurate research carried out on queries and subsequent responses prior to submission to relevant parties
  • Determine business impact level for data quality issues
  • Ensure adherence to data quality standards
  • Determine root cause for data quality errors and make recommendations for long-term solutions
Requirements of the Data Management and Quantitative Analyst:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field
  • Experience with, and understanding of, implementing and measuring Data Quality and Controls
  • Experience with issue management systems
  • Experience working with JIRA
  • Strong Data Management and Metadata Analysis skills
  • Ability to manage pressure and changing work environment Professional and timely handling of all enquiries
  • Ability to understand compliance policies and process assigned tasks in accordance with procedures
  • Strong knowledge of Excel
  • Strong organization, documentation, communication, and presentation skills
