As part of a dedicated two-person team, you will cover key beats such as growth and development, politics, criminal justice, education, and more. Your role will involve breaking news, developing in-depth enterprise stories, and engaging with the community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Break news and develop complex enterprise stories.
- Manage a mix of deadline-driven stories and enterprise.
- Engage readers across digital and print platforms while maintaining high standards of fairness and accuracy.
- Collaborate effectively within a dynamic newsroom environment.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience covering a beat.
- A strong track record of breaking news and developing enterprise stories.
- Proficiency in digital journalism and multimedia storytelling.
- Ability to balance immediate reporting with enterprise work.
- Commitment to engaging readers and upholding journalistic integrity.
