We recently won an adult use dispensary license in the State of Illinois, and are working on launching our retail cannabis brand-Socíale-an aspiring vertically integrated operation. Our growth plans span Illinois dispensaries, out-of-state dispensaries, and craft grow operations. Job Summary:

The Cannabis Street Marketer will play a crucial role in increasing brand awareness and driving customer engagement in local communities. This position involves direct interaction with the public, distribution of promotional materials, and representation of our brand at various events and locations. The ideal candidate is outgoing, knowledgeable about cannabis products, and passionate about the industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Street Marketing Campaigns:

· Distribute promotional materials such as flyers, brochures, and samples in high-traffic areas.

· Engage with potential customers to educate them about our products and services.

· Identify and target key locations for street marketing activities.

Event Participation:

· Represent the company at local events, festivals, and community gatherings.

· Set up and manage promotional booths, ensuring they are inviting and well-stocked.

· Provide product demonstrations and answer questions from attendees.

Brand Ambassador Duties:

· Maintain a positive and professional image of the company at all times.

· Collect and report customer feedback and insights to the marketing team.

· Utilize social media platforms to promote events and share experiences.

Networking and Community Building:

· Build relationships with local businesses and community organizations to foster partnerships.

· Stay informed about local regulations and ensure all activities comply with legal standards.

Data Collection and Reporting:

· Track and report on the effectiveness of street marketing campaigns.

· Provide regular updates to the marketing manager, including feedback and suggestions for improvement.

Qualifications:

Experience:

· Previous experience in street marketing, sales, or customer service is preferred.

· Knowledge of the cannabis industry and products is highly desirable.

Skills:

· Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

· Ability to engage with diverse groups of people and build rapport quickly.

· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

· Basic proficiency in social media platforms and marketing tools.

Personal Attributes:

· Outgoing, energetic, and approachable personality.

· Passionate about the cannabis industry and responsible use.

· Reliable and self-motivated with the ability to work independently.

Requirements:

· Must be 21 years of age or older.

· Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

· Valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation.

· Ability to lift and carry marketing materials and event equipment (up to 25 lbs).
