Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Azure IT Operations Engineer with a specialization in DevOps and data workflows. This role is pivotal in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of our IT infrastructure while optimizing our data management processes. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of technical expertise, strategic thinking, and hands-on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, deploy, and maintain scalable and reliable infrastructure solutions using modern DevOps practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support a fully cloud infrastructure: Azure & O365
  • Assist in the oversight and management of day to day operations in Azure.
  • Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with regulatory requirements through effective knowledge of Microsoft security.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to infrastructure, applications, and data workflows.
  • Document IT infrastructure, configurations, procedures, and policies.
  • Implement and maintain cloud backup and disaster recovery solutions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent work experience.
  • Proven experience 6+ years in IT operations, with a focus on DevOps methodologies and practices preferred
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure)
  • Proficiency in scripting and automation (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Bash, Azure Automation)
  • Familiarity with SQL databases, data warehousing solutions, and SQL management preferably within Azure.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to analyze and resolve complex infrastructure and data-related issues.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Azure Administration experience (Azure Administrator cert a plus)
  • Azure AD experience (Microsoft 365 Cert a plus)
  • Active Directory experience with a focus on hybrid identities/ infrastructure

The salary range for this position is $66,785 to $166,700. Individual salaries within this range are determined by a variety of factors including but not limited to the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, education, knowledge, skills, and geographic location.
