DAY-TO-DAY

This entry-level dishwashing position can be full-time or part-time and works a varying schedule. We are open 7 days a week

As a full- or part-time Restaurant Dishwasher - Kitchen Assistant, you are vital to the operations of our food service business. Each day, you come to work ready to help our restaurant have a constant flow of clean dishes. You wash all of our pots, pans, small wares, plates, and kitchen equipment on a daily basis.

Additionally, as needed, you complete other tasks, such as taking out the trash or assisting with food prep, to keep our kitchen running efficiently. As you work, you are conscientious about adhering to all OSHA, food safety, and personal hygiene regulations. You love working with our close-knit food service team and take pride in the part you play in the success of our business

In 2003, our opening day was the realization of five years of dreaming, discussing, and collecting. It is our hope that when our customers are with us, they feel welcomed into our home with open arms. There really is no average age at Mama's on the Half Shell, making our restaurant a true destination for great food and celebration. As native "Baltimoreans," we felt Baltimore needed a thoughtful, classic seafood restaurant. Our menu is important, but we also want our guests to come in and feel comfortable for any occasion, be it a business meeting, Sunday football, a birthday, an anniversary, or just some time out. Our restaurant is a place where you could "bring it or bring it down." We're the neighborhood bar that everyone wants to go to
