Job DescriptionJob DescriptionNiagara Hospice is looking for a Per Diem Housekeeper to join our dedicated team of caregivers at Hospice House.

Hours: Friday, every other weekend & as needed - 11am-7pm


Duties & Responsibilities:

· Cleans patient rooms and bathrooms.

· Cleans communal areas, office areas and bathrooms throughout the hospice house.

· Cleans and maintains the staff lounge and staff locker rooms.

· Receives, collects and washes/dries patient laundry and general laundry.

· Ensures that the linen room, cleaning equipment carts, and floor is kept neat and orderly. Assists in maintaining the laundry facilities, equipment and supplies.

· Knowledge of and compliance with all applicable federal, state and local privacy laws and regulations, including the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA)

Qualifications:

· Ability to comprehend housekeeping operations.

· Six (6) months of housekeeping experience required; One (1) year experience in housekeeping aide in a healthcare facility preferred.

Job Type: Part time

Salary: $16.20 per hour
