Job DescriptionJob Description

We are looking for an individual who takes pride in consistently preparing food that customers enjoy. You may be the right person if you are a competent and experienced line cook who can ensure that our meals are made precisely to guest orders while still following our standard recipes consistently. The job requires someone who can work a variety of stations and is skilled at poaching, braising, roasting, grilling, sautéing, and frying. To be successful, you must be able to effectively communicate with other kitchen staff to keep things running efficiently but also have the ability to stay focused and productive when working alone. Compensation:

$15 - $16 hourly

Responsibilities:
  • Keep all workstations, counters, cooking equipment, and refrigerators clean and sanitary according to health and safety rules
  • Demonstrate professional and pleasant demeanor when interacting with visitors, vendors, and associates
  • Guarantee that quality food is supplied, by adhering to specified storage and waste control requirements for meats, vegetables, fruits, and dairy products
  • Cook food orders at stations by following established recipes and presentation standards for grilling, broiling, and sautéing menu items
  • Assemble a system of food stations and fill them with everything they need for the shift
Qualifications:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with customers and other team members
  • Candidates must have completed high school or received similar certification such as a GED
  • Previous experience working in food service is preferred
  • Must be able to meet all safety and sanitation requirements of kitchen equipment and food storage
  • Candidates must be hardworking, detail-oriented, and have a strong work ethic
