Below is an overview of the duties and responsibilities you would take on in this role:Main Responsibilities
  1. Develop and maintain custom applications leveraging SAP BTP-based services (Business Application Studio, Build Apps, Build Work Zone, etc.)
  2. Work with the IT Enterprise Platform Team, and business owners, to develop wire-frame models and UI prototypes
  3. Complete unit testing of all applications
  4. Work with Application development leadership to expand BTP competencies within the team
  5. Compile technical specification documents for all development as per company requirements
  6. Provide support during UAT activities
  7. Setup and maintain GitHub environment for BTP development and own the SDLC in partnership with Enterprise Platform management.
Partnership responsibilities
  1. Business owners and functional leads
  2. Extended Planning and Analysis (XP&A) team
  3. IT Business Management (ITBM) project managers and business partners
  4. Application Development team
  5. SAP product development
  6. 3rd Party Consulting Partner
  7. Product roadmap reviews with SAP and Platform team management
Minimum Qualifications
  1. Minimum 5+ years of experience in developing SAP applications in UI5 (or equivalent)
  2. Strong knowledge and working experience in UI5 related programming like JavaScript, HTML5, Node.js, CSS, jQuery, Angular JS
  3. Experience working with OData Services
  4. Should be able to extend and customize SAP BTP service applications
  5. Familiar with concepts of Design Thinking and agile development
  6. Capable of facilitating requirements sessions, and interactive prototyping sessions
Desirable Qualifications
  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
  2. Understanding of cloud-based software models (IaaS, SaaS, PaaS)
  3. Development experience in SAP Build Work Zone or SuccessFactors Work Zone
