This includes guiding clients through the intake process, conducting thorough assessments, implementing effective treatment plans, maintaining accurate documentation, managing essential center operations, and providing supportive team supervision. The BCBA Supervisor is an integral part of our Clinical Services team and reports directly to the Clinical Director.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • State of AZ Prevention and Support Training
  • State of AZ Article 9 Training
  • ABA Ethical Guidelines, Clinical Handbook and Policy Orientation
  • 1 + year of holding a License to practice Behavior Analysis in the state of Arizona
  • Certification as a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst
  • 1+ year experience in direct and supervisory ABA Program Implementation
  • AzAHP - Initial and Annual Core Training Plan
  • 8-hour supervision training

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: CLINICAL, PROFESSIONAL, & SUPERVISORY

Clinical Functions

Job Activities:

  1. Completes Client Intake Procedure for all new clients with fidelity. This includes parent outreach and collaboration, assessment, goal selection, treatment plan creation, and live reviews with insurance plans when required.
  2. Independently completes timely, accurate, and optimal assessments and reassessments for all clients and client families. This includes:
    1. Ensuring that treatment goals are functionally related, derived from standardized and curriculum assessments, and in alignment with client and client family values.
    2. Completion of Functional Behavior Assessments as clinically indicated.
  3. Independently manages Treatment Program Implementation for each client. This includes:
    1. Utilize behavioral skills training methodology to support plan implementation for family members and direct service team members, initially and ongoing.
    2. Weekly data and progress reviews to adjust client goals and treatment strategies.
    3. Compliance with risk management and crisis management protocols (i.e., safety plans).
    4. Provides clinical services (i.e. direct treatment, parent support/training and supervision of staff) in the home, center, or community as approved by the funding source
    5. Demonstration of reliability and predictability through the maintenance of a consistent schedule with client and client family.
  4. Coordinates care within across client treatment team (e.g., RBT, teacher, OT, doctor, etc.)

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  1. Meets criteria on performance monitoring each quarter.
  2. Meets the recommended percentage of supervised hours (55) per client.
  3. Demonstrates successful patient outcomes/improvement.

Professional Functions

Job Activities:

  1. Complete all documentation timely and accurately. This includes reports, daily session notes, and daily appointment conversions.
  2. Exclusively implement empirically supported ABA clinical practices that fall within your scope of competency.
  3. Act in accordance with all applicable ethical codes of conduct.
  4. Participate in monthly ACS Clinical Meetings, quarterly All Staff Meeting and any other meetings as needed.
  5. Manages required center-based documentation in accordance with Arions Center Policies and Procedures (i.e. sign in sheets, cleaning logs, emergency drills, etc.)

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  1. Meet or exceed the minimum of 15 billable hours/week with at least 50% being 55/56.
  2. Meets criteria for all documentation on clinical audits.
  3. Meets criteria for action items on operations audit.

Supervisory Functions

Job Activities

  1. Provide appropriate percentage of RBT and BA Trainee supervision based on BACB regulations and Arion Policies and Procedures.
  2. Complete performance monitoring and annual goals for RBTs and BA Trainees, as assigned by direct supervisor.
  3. Complete Competency Assessments and assist in renewal process as directed by supervisor.
  4. Support BA Trainees with Fieldwork Supervision by providing client observations and mentorship as assigned by Director.
  5. Monitor timesheets and session notes of RBT staff as directed.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  1. Performance Monitoring is completed for all staff.
  2. Maintain 5% supervision (monthly) for RBT Certification.

PHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to physically assist members as needed including lifting/transferring up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to walk, kneel, stand and bend in order to assist members with activities of daily living
  • Patience; Ability to exercise restraint and self-control in potentially high stress, challenging situations
  • Ability to quickly respond to health, safety and emergency situations
  • Ability to effectively execute all positions highlighted in Prevention and Support Training

EQUIPMENT NORMALLY USED

  • Telephone and FAX machines.
  • Computer and internet, printer, copier.
  • May require the use of vehicle.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • All services rendered within the center and member's home.
  • This job may require remote tele-work, as Arion Care Solutions does not provide a separate workplace at a corporate location. Working from home requires a high degree of discipline and the ability to have a space dedicated to work in the home and provision for childcare if appropriate
