Primary Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate access to all necessary clinical and ABA services for participants and their families.
  • Triage participants for ABA services and ensure timely access.
  • Collaborate with ABA providers to facilitate comprehensive care.
  • Ensure the delivery of medically necessary ABA services and conduct any utilization management (UM) reviews or authorizations.
  • Support the implementation of treatment plans in collaboration with participants, families, and providers.
  • Educate families about ABA services, community supports, and other available resources.
  • Coordinate and facilitate access to all medically necessary services.
  • Handle phone assignments as needed.
Required Qualifications:
  • Valid clinical license (e.g., LBA, CSW, MFCC) and a Master's degree in applied behavior analysis, counseling, psychology, or social work.
  • BCBA certification.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in providing ABA services.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in the Maryland delivery system and knowledge of autism services available in the state.
  • Experience working in environments requiring the coordination of benefits and the utilization of multiple groups and resources for patients.
  • A passion for helping families access optimal care for their autistic child and a proactive approach to assisting them with the efficient use of their plan benefits.
  • Background or knowledge of behavior principles and techniques for children, including Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite programs (Word, Outlook, Internet).
