Job Description: Our customer is seeking a Data Scientist to join their team. This is a Full-time and Contract position. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the integrity, reliability, and optimization of our data models while leveraging SQL expertise to extract actionable insights from complex datasets
Responsibilities:
- Master's/Bachelor's in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field with a strong academic background in data analytics.
- Proven experience as a Data Scientist or in a similar role with a focus on data model governance, SQL development, and data manipulation.
- Expertise in writing complex SQL queries and proficient in database management systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle).
- Strong understanding of data governance principles, data quality management, and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and statistical analysis software (e.g., R, Python) is preferred.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines.
