PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS:

  • Identify the problem and cause of failure through troubleshooting steps.
  • Repair or replace parts as required within the defined expectations of the task.
  • Maintain high quality service repairs on trucks, buses, & RVs.
  • Keep up-to-date on equipment bulletins and product updates.
  • Keep service manager and/or customers informed of status of repairs.
  • Road tests vehicles to quality check work performed.
  • Maintains safe work environment.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Possess good communication skills, be a team player and provide outstanding customer service.
  • Must be capable of lifting 50 lbs on a regular basis.
  • Must pass pre-employment physical and drug screening.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

Associate’s degree in Diesel Technology or equivalent experience in medium/heavy duty diesel repair.

CERTIFICATION:

Having prior certifications will be a bonus for wage. Certifications are not required to work at Nebraska Truck Center.


Requirements:

Minimum of 5 years experience with heavy-duty diesel repair
