Job Title : Sr. Java Microservices Developer

Job Type : W2/C2C/1099

Experience : 3-10 Years

Location : Plano, Texas / Ofallon, Missouri / Middletown, Rhode Island

We are looking for a Senior Java Microservices Developer with a strong background in Springboot, J2EE, and Java, specifically in microservices architecture development with Kafka. The perfect applicant will have expertise with load and performance testing using tools like JMeter and Postman, as well as API testing.

Responsibilities:

  • 7+ years of overall experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in Agile software development.
  • Experience with API testing, load testing, and performance monitoring tools (e.g., JMeter, Postman).

  • Experience in web technologies such as JavaScript, JQuery, AngularJS, CSS, CSS 3.0, cross-browser compatibility, GWT & HTML.

  • Experience in ORM frameworks such as Hibernate/JPA. Working experience with SQL and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, Oracle, and MongoDB.

  • Hands-on experience in Web services development (SOAP and REST). Experience in working with API Security using OAuth and tokenization Encryption.

  • Experience with XP principles, including TDD and continuous deployment.

  • Experience with relational and NoSQL databases, including knowledge of Cassandra.

  • Experience with version control systems like Git for managing source code.
  • Proficiency in Java, J2EE, and Springboot for developing microservices and RESTful services.
  • Strong understanding of containerization tools such as Kubernetes and Docker.
  • Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools like Splunk and ELK.
  • Familiarity with event streaming platforms like Kafka.
  • Develop and maintain microservices using Java, focusing on RESTful services and utilizing JSON for service implementation.
  • Implement Agile development methodologies, including XP Principles such as TDD (Test-Driven Development) and continuous deployment.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to design and implement solutions that meet business requirements.
  • Perform API testing, and load testing, and ensure high performance and reliability of applications.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot complex software issues with technical agility and creativity.
  • Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and sprint planning sessions.
