Schedule

The Dishwasher / Steward schedule is Wednesday - Saturday, from 1:30 pm to close, usually between 9:30 - 10:30 pm. This is approximately 32 hours a week, possibility of 40 hours a week if desired. This is a seasonal position, May - August/September. Great job if you are looking for summer work at a beautiful location with a great team.


Position Summary and Responsibilities

Operate the dish washing machine and keep up with the needs of the kitchen, restaurant, and banquet facility as needed by providing immaculately cleaned dishware, utensils, etc. Carry out cleaning projects and food prep duties during down time as assigned by the exec/sous chef. Contribute to the overall cleanliness of the kitchen by performing routine cleaning tasks around the facility.

  • Operate the dish washing machine
  • Handle all washing in a timely fashion keeping up with facilities needs
  • Maintain a clean workstation
  • Contribute heavily to maintaining a clean kitchen environment
  • Participate as a team member
  • Complete food prep projects as assigned by the exec/sous chef
  • Actively seek extra projects during down time
  • Current Food Handler's Card or willing to certify
  • Proper knife skills and technique
  • Restaurant industry experience
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Background check required
