Summary

Under direction of the Quality Specialist and/or the Quality Manager, the Quality Intern supports various projects and initiatives within the Quality department. Projects include process documentation, value stream mapping, routing changes.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Process development
  • Process control documentation
  • Develop process audit program
  • Assist with development of QA manual
  • Quality metric reporting
  • Assist with continuous improvement events and activities
  • Create quality alerts and corrective actions

Qualifications: Education and/or Experience

  • Currently enrolled as a full-time student at an accredited U.S. college or university
  • Pursuing an undergraduate degree in Industrial Engineering or related field
  • Currently a sophomore or later status

General Skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office required. Excellent Excel skills are a plus
  • Excellent communication & organizational skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Self-motivated
  • Time management skills: Ability to prioritize, organize, and perform multiple tasks
  • Able to work well within a team, as well as work independently on projects
  • Available to work full-time in the summer
