We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Steward (Dishwasher) to join our team at Estancia Del Norte Hotel in San Antonio, TX. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards for dishes, glassware, tableware, cooking utensils, etc. in the kitchen and dining areas.


Responsibilities:

- Operate and maintain the dishwasher and other cleaning equipment

- Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, or pans using dishwashers or by hand

- Place clean dishes, utensils, or cooking equipment in storage areas

- Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, or utensils in a clean and orderly condition

- Sweep and mop kitchen floors

- Remove trash and clean kitchen garbage containers

- Assist with other kitchen duties as assigned


Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Previous experience as a dishwasher or in a similar role preferred

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

- Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
