What we are looking for:


Metro's Speech Department continues to grow and we are looking for a dedicated per diem SLP to pick up school-age cases in Suffolk County. The services can be provided in the schools, student's homes, or at one of our outpatient locations.


Metro Physical & Aquatic Therapy is a comprehensive multidisciplinary company who offers Physical, Occupational, Speech Therapy, Massage and Acupuncture services. Qualifications

  • Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of New York or eligible.Strong CF with existing placement considered.
  • Must have TSSLD certification
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Evaluates a patient's need for speech therapy and develops an appropriate treatment plan.
  • Provide appropriate care and treatment to patients based on physician care plan, agency policy and professional standards of care.
  • Instructs family members, Home Health Aides, and other caregivers in appropriate speech therapy techniques & HEP
  • Mandatory Certifications: First Aid, AED, & CPR Certifications (live course)

Job Type: Per Diem/Coverage

Pay: $60 per visit (30 minute treatment sessions with opportunity to stack multiple sessions in one location).

Requirements:
  • Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of New York or eligible.
