Stamford, United States Global Forensic Experts Full time
Job DescriptionJob DescriptionGlobal Forensic Experts (GFE), a provider of forensic engineering and accounting services, is currently seeking to establish relationships with experienced engineers to perform engineering work on a consulting basis. GFE's most common work is property damage and liability claims for insurance carriers.

Consulting engineers must have at least 5 years of relevant experience and hold a Professional Engineer (PE) license. Although civil/structural engineering experts with construction expertise represent GFE's most widely used type of expert (on property damage claims), other forensic engineering disciplines are also encouraged to apply. A GFE engineer performs site inspections as part of a forensic engineering investigation and documents their findings in written reports on GFE letterhead, consistent with a standard GFE format. Turnaround time between assignment and final report delivery must be less than 2 weeks. The ability to testify as an expert witness for depositions, mediations, and trials when necessary is also required. We offer a competitive hourly rate and travel reimbursement. Inspection travel is typically within 2 hours each way.
