Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook a variety of appetizing and nutritious meals in accordance with established menus and dietary guidelines.
  • Ensure that all meals are presented attractively and served at the appropriate temperatures.
  • Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards, including proper handling, storage, and cleaning of kitchen equipment and work areas.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to develop and refine menus that cater to the diverse preferences and dietary needs of our residents.
  • Maintain a positive and respectful attitude while interacting with residents, families, and fellow staff members.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in culinary arts or food service is preferred, but not required.
  • Strong culinary skills and a passion for creating high-quality, flavorful meals.
  • Knowledge of food safety principles and practices.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and collaborative kitchen environment.
