Job Summary:

As a Network Security Engineer, you will be a vital part of our team, responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of our network infrastructure. Join us and be at the forefront of safeguarding our network against cyber threats.

This position is 100% on-site, and we provide relocation assistance.

Key Responsibilities:

A successful candidate must have a minimum of 8 years of engineering experience and be proficient in:

  • Plan, design, and evaluate new and existing computer network systems and services, with a focus on cybersecurity principles and best practices.
  • Design, implement, manage, and support enterprise-level IP networks, including LAN, WAN, and WLAN design and implementation, ensuring compliance with FAA regulations, NIST 800-53, and NIST 800-171 standards.
  • Apply routing and switch design principles to optimize network performance while addressing NIST requirements.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and address network infrastructure needs while considering cybersecurity implications.
Qualifications:
  • B.S. in an engineering, information systems, or related discipline (Cisco Certified Network Professional, plus 5 additional years of experience could be substituted for a bachelor's degree)
  • Active secret security clearance (preferred)
  • Willing to relocate within 30 days of offer acceptance
  • Expertise in drafting, reviewing, and interpreting NIST documentation
  • Knowledge of network security protocols and technologies
  • Excellent verbal and written communications
  • Excellent collaboration and problem-solving skills
  • Experience conducting research for technical systems
