A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A SOFTWARE ENGINEER

As a Software Engineer, you are the lifeblood of our company. You play a huge role in our innovations as you identify, architect, and develop software for a wide range of systems, including enterprise-level AI/ML solutions and embedded/real-time systems. Each day, you use your technical skills in C and C++ to work on several ongoing projects, including Artisan-AI©, the Open Intelligent Additive Manufacturing System (Open-IAM), and the ThermaViz© imaging pyrometer. An avid learner, you quickly grasp the ins and outs of these projects and make yourself invaluable to their progress.

While programming, you are meticulous about keeping your code clean and choosing the correct tools for the job. You also take advantage of our collaborative culture to bounce ideas off your team members, who share your innovative and resourceful mindset. Our method of adding intelligence to devices is singular, and you take pride in doing your part to help our company thrive. QUALIFICATIONS FOR A SOFTWARE ENGINEER

  • B.S in computer science or computer engineering with 2+ years of professional experience
  • Proficiency with Windows C and C++ GUI development
  • Proficiency with TCP/IP
  • Extensive knowledge about software development, design, and implementation
  • Knowledge about embedded/real-time systems as well as enterprise-level systems
  • Authorization to work in the U.S.

WORK SCHEDULE FOR A SOFTWARE ENGINEER

This software development position enjoys a work-life balanced schedule of 8:30 am - 5:30 pm, Monday - Friday.
