Position – Cycle Tech / Mold Technician

Job Location – Woodville, WI

Starting Date – Immediate

Employment Term – Direct Hire

Employment Type – Full-Time

Work Hours (Shift) – 3rd Shift (11pm-730am, Sun-Thurs)

Starting Pay – Depends on Experience, $22 -$29 per hour

Required Education – High School Diploma/GED or equivalent required

Required Experience – At least 3-5 years of experience as a cycle/mold tech

The mold technician position utilizes established documentation, tools, quality and production concepts in accordance with established safety procedures, to set up molds and establish process parameters in various molding machines. Responsible for starting up machines to produce quality product within validated molding processes.

Responsibilities

- This position requires basic communications skills and basic mathematics skills; and the ability to utilize a variety of instructions in written, oral, diagram or visual sample form, to set up molds and establish process parameters so as to ensure production of acceptable finished goods and WIP product

- Uses and follows established standard operating procedures, to set up molds in various molding machines.

- Establishes and documents process parameters, in various molding machines and secondary operations, to ensure production of product in compliance with documented and understood acceptance criteria.

- Understands and utilizes all applicable subcomponents of the Production Packet, to establish and maintain process parameters within acceptable limits

- Uses applicable hand tools and air tools, to perform mold set up functions.

Qualifications

- Applicant must have 3-5 years’ experience as a cycle tech in the injection molding industry.

- Experience with RJG cavity pressure monitoring and Systematic molding processes is highly desired, however, we will train solid candidates.

- This position requires the employee to frequently stand, walk, bend and occasionally lift or move up to fifty pounds.

- Strong mechanical aptitude.

- Proficient in math skills (imperial & metric), as well as measurement and use of measurement tools.

- Ability to read and follow verbal and written instructions.

- Strong problem-solving ability.

- Time-management – organized with ability to adapt to changing situations.

- Work independently and in a team environment and take direction from others.

- Ability to communicate clearly and work well with all levels in the organization.

- Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills- ability to work well with all levels in the organization.

- Ability to adapt to changing situations, manage priorities and crises situations in a professional manner.
