Assistant Videographer

We are seeking a dynamic and organized individual to join our team as an Assistant Editor. This multifaceted role will involve supporting our videographer in various capacities, including video editing, photo editing, and administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for visual storytelling, excellent technical skills in editing software, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities with efficiency and attention to detail.

$25 per hour

• Assist in video editing tasks, including but not limited to cutting footage, adding transitions, applying effects, and ensuring smooth playback
• Edit photos to enhance quality and visual appeal, maintaining consistency with brand guidelines
• Organize and manage media assets, including footage and photographs, in a systematic and accessible manner
• Collaborate with the videographer to develop creative concepts and execute editing projects to meet client specifications
• Provide administrative support, such as scheduling appointments, responding to emails, and managing project timelines
• Contribute ideas for improving editing processes and workflow efficiency

• Proven experience with video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve) and photo editing software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom)
• Strong understanding of editing techniques, including color grading, audio synchronization, and visual storytelling
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment
• High attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
• Prior experience in a similar role or a degree in film production, digital media, or a related field is preferred but not required
