We strive to deliver great service in a fun and enticing environment. We are open year round and provide live entertainment, promotions, great food, and multiple event spaces, there is always something happening at The Hillside Resort.

Overview:

Here at the Hillside we pride ourselves in the great service we provide. We are seeking outgoing, positive, passionate servers for our restaurant. We are looking for both full time and part time hours. Responsibilities for this position include:

  • Providing customer service: Welcome them, connect on a personal level, be polite and attentive, and provide customers with any information they need
  • Presenting menus: Explain the menu and specials, and answer questions about menu items
  • Taking orders: Take orders accurately and enter them into the point of sale (POS) system
  • Making recommendations: Suggest food and drinks based on customer preferences and dietary restrictions
  • Delivering food and drinks: Deliver meals, drinks, and refills to tables effectively and efficiently
  • Processing payments: Issue bills and accept payment, ensuring all transactions are correct
  • Maintaining the dining area: Clean and prepare the dining area, and perform light food prep as needed
  • Communicating with the kitchen: Provide the cooking staff with information about customer orders

  • Collaborating with others: Work closely with bussers and hostesses to ensure guests receive excellent service

Pay:

$5.50-6.50/hour depending on experience + same day payout tips

Shifts: Part time, full time, flexible scheduling, nights and weekends

Qualifications:

Serving experience is a plus, but not required

Great customer service

Strong communication skills

Outgoing and fun

Dependable and flexible in schedule

Willing to learn and grow
