About the Company: This esteemed company, with headquarters in Butler, WI, and additional facilities in Hudson, NH, and Largo, FL, excels in silicone molding, two-material molding, plastic molding, and micro-molding. They operate in ISO 13485 certified, GMP compliant, temperature-controlled clean rooms, ensuring top-notch quality and safety in their products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and assign daily work orders for the shift.
- Set up and adjust department equipment and machinery, including all secondary equipment.
- Monitor production/labor reports and ensure an adequate supply of materials.
- Train, supervise, and provide guidance to personnel, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
- Perform first shot approvals using Q.A. measuring equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness of the department and perform housekeeping activities.
- Operate equipment as needed and troubleshoot jobs to maintain quality and production standards.
Qualifications:
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Knowledge of press operations, shop mathematics, and various types of plastic resins and compounds.
- Proficiency in operating a forklift, hoist, and various department equipment.
- Capacity to perform extensive climbing and bending activities.
- Experience in maintaining and cleaning molds, performing SPC and press checks.
