Job DescriptionJob DescriptionThe ideal candidate for this position has an excellent design sense, an eye for detail, and an artistic background. Assists in making sure typographic and layouts are seamless for the Burpee brand whether digital or print.

Essential Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate closely with creative services manager and other members of the department
  • Package and preflight files for release to printers or media partners
  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
  • Provide image retouching
  • Prepare images for online and mobile applications
  • Assist in digital asset creation
  • Assist in packet creation
  • Catalog and reference art/imagery for future projects
  • Follow a development timeline to ensure tasks are being completed on time
  • All other duties as assigned.
Additional Information:
  • Reports to Creative Services Manager.
  • Seasonal employment
Requirements:
  • At least three years of related work experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Expert in Microsoft Office Suite and design software
  • Ability to work independently on an assignment and as a member of a team
Preferred Technical Skills:
Knowledge of all Adobe Creative Suite applications including InDesign, Illustrator, and Acrobat, plus a working knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel.
