Aspire Educational Services is excited to announce independent contractor opportunities for General Education and Special Education Teachers for our partner schools in Philadelphia, Bucks, Montgomery, and Chester Counties. This opportunity would be great for someone building and developing their career in the education industry or looking to gain additional experience in their field as an independent contractor.


Who you are:

  • Dependable and genuinely care for children and are committed to helping them reach their fullest potential.
  • Experience instructing K-8 students and a passion for education
  • Have a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood, General, or Special Education
  • A Certified teacher in SPED or General Education (preferred but not required)
  • Proof of professional liability insurance.
  • Experience in a K-8 school setting.
  • Valid Driver’s License, proof of registration and insurance.
  • Have current (or be able to attain) required state and federal background checks and relevant clearances. Please note: All clearances will be required before hire.

 

What you love to do:

  • Maintain a positive, safe, healthy, and controlled learning environment; ensure supervision of all assigned students.
  • Develop and implement curricula to meet academic standards.
  • Prepare lesson plans, instructional aids, and supplemental teaching materials.
  • Participate in student development and achievement related conferences with parents, students, counselors, teachers, principal, and/or administrators.
