General Accountabilities include:

  • Handle all incoming calls efficiently, ensuring timely and accurate communication with customers, drivers and carriers.
  • Navigate and use the Tracking Board effectively to monitor and update shipment statuses.
  • Contact carriers and drivers to confirm arrivals, communicate important information, and address any concerns.
  • Promptly input and convey received information through appropriate channels, updating and adding documentation into loads, and sending emails to relevant internal stakeholders when necessary.
  • Ensure a high standard of quality in all comments, emails, and communications.
  • Help resolve issues and provide solutions to operational challenges.
  • Become a subject matter expert in standard operating procedures, transportation management system, and other relevant technologies.
  • Remain flexible and adaptable to evolving business requirements and processes.

Skills Required:

  • Knowledge of customer service principles and practices
  • Ability to resolve customers' problems and to demonstrate patience and remain courteous when faced with difficult or angry callers
  • Ability to work well under pressure and in a rapidly changing environment
  • Must be ambitious and capable of working independently
  • Consistently follows Company policies and procedures and departmental Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or government regulations.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals.
  • Must possess strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and customers


Prerequisites:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 4+ years in customer service environment
  • 2+ years in Logistics industry and/or carrier management
