DerbySoft has this opportunity and more with our online travel and hospitality industry software that we support around the world This position is in a new team that will deliver cutting-edge Java solutions and will be responsible for the technical components for development, optimization, and user testing for our connectivity platform.

Job Summary

We are looking for a Technical Solution Analyst to lead the technical solution design and ensure the features delivery meet customer needs. The Technical Solution Analyst in DerbySoft PaaS department is responsible for communication with internal business stakeholders, providing the business requirements analysis and technical consulting service. He/she will cooperate with DerbySoft business teams, manage the customer expectations and evaluate the technical feasibility.

What will you do?

• Responsible for the technical requirement analysis, cooperate with DerbySoft business teams for clarifying customer’s business requirements, manage the customer’s expectation and ensure the technical solution meet customer’s needs

• Deliver the detailed requirements documentation to the engineering team for development and QA, as the requirement owner to clarify the expectation from customers

• Responsible for the function acceptance, working closely with the QA engineering team to deliver the features with high quality

• Participate in the pre-sale with DerbySoft BDs for potential customers, and routine business review with DerbySoft client managers for existing customers, providing the technical consulting service and guide the customer to migrate to new solutions

• Manage the technical risks and evaluate technical feasibility, leading and driving the internal stakeholders to determine acceptable solutions.

• Responsible for the alignment between business teams and engineering teams for the technical solutions.

• Create software requirements using reverse-engineering for some legacy products.

What do we need?

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT or Computer Science.

• Minimum 3 years of working experience in:

  • Software engineering background.

  • Specific experience in Requirements Engineering or Technical Writing.

• Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills.

• Excellent verbal and written English is a must. Fluent in Mandarin is a plus.

• Independently to meet deadlines and complete tasks in an accurate manner.

• Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate at all levels within internal and external customers

• Previous experience working for Hospitality Software Company or Online Travel Agency is a plus.
