Job DescriptionAustin Click2Pay team is looking for a talented Staff Test Engineer.
You will lead Test Engineering efforts for the Click2Pay (Secure Remote Commerce SRC) Checkout team, regional initiatives, and future services.
Essential Qualifications
Build test automation script to support end to end tests
Ensure efficient test case management across our software portfolio
Set standards for test case format and coverage
Build test tools to improve quality and performance
Establish coding and test automation standards
Lead efforts to design, develop, execute, and maintain automated test suites
Design testing environments to mirror production
Collaborate with development leads to ensure alignment in testing coverage and engineering standards
Work closely with quality assurance engineers and provide technical guidance to peers as needed.
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
QualificationsBasic Qualifications
• 5+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD, OR 8+ years of relevant work experience.
Preferred Qualifications
• 6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD
• 7+ years software development and test experience
• Experience with Selenium and Playwright required.
• Experience testing large scale web, mobile, and backend services
• Experience in testing 3rd party JavaScript applications
• Experience in financial technologies preferred
• Agile Development, Continuous Integration using Jenkins and automated testing experience
• Experience with one or more general-purpose programming languages including but not limited to:
C/C++, Java, JavaScript or Go
• Strong Unix skills, proficient with at least one shell and one high-level scripting language.
• Real passion for high quality software engineering.
Additional Information
Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.
Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.
Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 106,700.00 to 154,600.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
