Under new ownership and after over three years of extensive renovation, we are gearing up for a grand reopening in early 2024. As we embark on this exciting chapter, we're seeking passionate individuals to join our team and be a part of something truly special where we offer a casual upscale dining experience serving New American cuisine.

Job Summary: As a Prep Cook for August The Mansion you will be helping to create exceptional experiences for our customers during their visit with us preparing and cooking a variety of dishes for restaurant guests to enjoy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect and clean food preparation areas, such as equipment and work surfaces or serving areas to ensure safe and sanitary food-handling practices
• Ensure freshness of food and ingredients through effective rotation and labeling of product in the walk in.
• Ensure all prep is cooked and seasoned correctly.
• Respond to guest feedback with appropriate urgency and professionalism.
• Communicate with the incoming shift as to what prep items need to be completed/prioritized.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a prep cook preferred.
• Attention to detail
• ServeSafe or Food Handlers certification (or must be willing to attain)
• Effective communication skills
• Ability to work standing for 8+ hours
