Industrial Engineering Technician – (Commodities Planner)

Warner Robins - Warner Robins, Georgia

Full time day shift

Experienced

$39.84 hr.

Commodities Planner needed to support to Robins AFB to develop plans, perform reviews, and prepare inputs for Depot Maintenance programs as the source of repair in support of organic workload.

Responsibilities:

Analysis of engineering and technical data, requirements documents, historical production data and aircraft records.

Utilizes all relevant maintenance systems such as G004L, G005M (Materials), JEDMICS (Technical Data Prints), GATEWAY, EITMS, AOTS, FEDLOG, PNSSR (PN Supply Support), ROCIT, LDMS, ITS data and aircraft records.

Construction and modification of Bills of Material.

Identification of production supportability requirements, such as tools, equipment,

technical data, facilities, training, material, etc.

Plan of Form/Fit/Function requirements.

Initiating requests to correct technical order discrepancies/deviations, as required.

Using critical path management, arranging workload in proper sequence of completion to assure overall efficiency and effectiveness of work operations, considering shop layouts, workflow sequences, manpower skills and quantities, material requirements, etc.

Evaluation of items for local manufacture.

Developing process orders.

Ability to climb, bend, stoop, crawl, and stand for prolonged periods of time on concrete or metal surfaces.

Occasional use of mechanical lifting devices.

Bending/lifting requirement – 40 pounds unassisted.

Maintain safe and clean working environment and comply with all applicable. security and safety regulations.

Requirements:

Minimum of 5 years in Industrial Engineering Technician role.

Depot experience preferred, military experience a plus.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office suites particularly Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Experience interacting and interfacing with the client, team members and subcontractors for the purposes of understanding and responding to requirements and needs.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills and have demonstrated ability to present material to senior management staff.
